Guided Kayak Fishing Trips & Instruction1-2 ParticipantsFridays & Saturdays Year Round |
Trip DescriptionExperience the joys of kayak fishing with an endorsed Heritage Kayaks Fishing Guide. Learn to use your kayak as a tool to catch more fish instead of just transportation. Trips are available on local lakes and rivers around Greensboro and Burlington, NC. About The Guide
My passion to fish began when I was five, living in Maryland, by way of an avid outdoorsman and neighbor, Mr. Rose. One day at the local sport shop he presented me with my first rod and reel, and I've been hooked ever since. While living in NJ, CA, and GA I have sought every opportunity to wet the line. Recently, I won the 2006 Cape Fear Kayaks fishing tournament series. The Piedmont of North Carolina has the best of both fisheries, fresh and salt, from mountain stream Trout, Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Sunfish and Catfish in the lakes and rivers, to Red Drum, Speckled Trout and Flounder along the coast. I use spinning and bait-casting tackle to target what I'm after, from ultra-light 2 lb gear for Sunfish or Crappie to 30 lb gear for my favorite species, Red Drum. Paddle craft are the ultimate means to catch fish, and as much as possible, I strive to provide the best on the water experience possible.
