Trip Description

This class is for beginning, intermediate, and experienced kayakers ready to learn new rolls and advance their skill level. Learn skills like a basic c to c roll, a sweep roll plus whitewater play tricks using a simple progression and learn at your own pace. These classes are designed to add to your kayaking experience by teaching skills that will give you more control over your kayak and boost confidence.

Typical Itinerary

Call for time and location. You will recieve an introduction by the instructor and orientation (paddling gear, safety protocol, and what to expect from your kayak) as well as any schedule changes. During the classes you will learn to roll using a simple progression with instruction along the way to maximize your learning. What We Provide

A kayak, PFD, paddle, Sprayskirt and an experienced guide/instructor are provided.

Your Responsibility

Guests are responsible for transportation to and from the meeting place, and all personal items.

Prior Conditioning

Get:Outdoors strives to provide you with an enjoyable experience. Pre-class conditioning and physical activities will help prepare you for your class. Suggestions for conditioning include: sit-ups, push-ups, cycling, rowing, canoeing, swimming, and calisthenics that strengthen your shoulders, arms, and abdominal muscles. Persons with health problems, particularly heart problems, are required to consult their physician prior to participating.

Reservation Terms & Conditions

Full payment is due prior to the day of the class.

Cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to the class will receive a full refund minus a 10% per person cancellation fee retained from the refunded deposit.

Any cancellation made in less than 24 hours, before the trip/class begins will result in a 50% credit towards a future class. No-shows will receive no refund or credit.

If the trip or class is postponed because of bad weather, it will be rescheduled. If the trip or class is cancelled by Get:Outdoors or if the participant can't reschedule to the new date, the trip fee will be refunded.

All participants are required to fill out a trip application form and sign a liability waiver before participating in any trips or classes.
